Rainbow Plantation

We arrived in Summerdale, Alabama at the Escapees park, Rainbow Plantation, at around 12:30 central time yesterday. We had both forgotten what a nice park this is. The sites are so large and there are well placed trees for shade without interfering with satellite reception. We will enjoy our few days here.

We did not feel like cooking dinner last night so we decided to go back to Lambert’s (home of throwed rolls). The food there is pretty good, nothing exceptional,  but the entertainment makes it worthwhile.

Below are a few pictures from our trip here and our visit to Lambert’s.

  1. Way to go Cheyenne!! I bet you rolled in it, too.
Our dogs usually do. Sounds like you're enjoying some sunshine. We had some for about 10 minutes this afternoon between the rain clouds. Now it's pouring down rain again. I guess we're just bound to be puddle jumpers.

    Enjoy.

  3. Glad you guys made it safely to Rainbow Plantation! We too, will add it to our places to visit. I've never been much of a cook, so have to ask, what are "throwed rolls"?
