A Road Trip To Rainbow Springs State Park

We went on a short road trip yesterday to Rainbow Springs State Park and we are so glad we did. It is a beautiful park built around headsprings with lots of natural gardens. The pictures we took do not really do it justice but we tried.

And I have to brag on my wonderful husband for making my birthday very special yesterday!! He basically waited on me all day and didn’t let me do a thing!! I could get used to this!!

    Happy Belated birthday Sherry! Rainbow Springs is a beautiful place.... were there any campgrounds around there that you visited?

    The park is in Dunnellon and there was a campground but we did not visit it. It was only about 20 miles from Crystal River.

    Thanks for the beautiful pictures. We've been there, but it's been many years. We want to get back and kayak the river. I remembered it as one of the prettiest rivers in Florida.
