We left Wall, SD at 8:30 AM Mountain time and arrived in Mitchell, SD at 1:30PM Central time. Took less than an hour to get all set up for a 2 night stay here at R&R Campground. This is a very nice park with level sites and lots of trees. Our satellite dish is blocked (first time this has happened) so we are using the park's cable and it is okay. We do love our DirecTV though!!
Planning to drive by the Corn Palace tomorrow to see if anything has changed, take a few pictures, and then go out to dinner. Otherwise just planning a few small clean up chores before we head out for parts unknown on Thursday morning. We have to sit down and get an idea of where we would like to stop.....

When we stopped at the Corn Palace last time, they were just redoing the outside decorations. That was very interesting. If you have not taken the inside tour, I thunk it is worth the time. The first few times we were there we never bothered, so we missed most of the history of the place.
ReplyDeleteWe did the full tour of the Palace when we were here before so just took pictures of the outside today (9/7). Will post as soon as I get a chance.
